Starting when your child is three months old, we will nurture their development and take care of their daily needs from feeding and diapering to developing language skills and providing physical stimulation through talking, singing, cuddling, storytime, stroller walks and rug time.

Infant Program

Our Infant Program provides care for newborns between the ages of three months and fifteen months. In our two infant classrooms, skilled, experienced and committed teachers provide a secure, nurturing and calm learning environment that meets the individual needs of children and their families.

  • Our feeding, diapering and napping schedule is flexible and is responsive to each baby’s individual routine.
  • Our classroom equipment supports children’s healthy growth and safety.
  • Stimulating activities are provided in order to promote the infants’ social-emotional, language, cognitive and motor development.

Sleep/Quiet Time: While most babies sleep during the suggested time periods, our schedule is flexible and accomodating to the babies' individual needs, as well as your families' schedule and request. Children that do not sleep during scheduled Sleep and Quiet Time can participate in activities held and supervised by their care givers.

Outdoor Time: Weather permitting.

Toddler Classroom

Our Toddler Program is available for children between the ages of fifteen and twenty-four months. Our newly opening toddler classrooms are set up to best support the development of independent and curious learners.

New! We now offer yoga, music, and Spanish classes as part of our Toddler Program!

  • Our classroom schedule provides a consistent routine and structure that makes children feel safe and secure.
  • Nurturing and supportive teachers make sure that our toddlers receive all the support they need and opportunities that best support them to reach individual goals and to develop self-helping and problem-solving skills.
  • A series of fun and challenging activities are provided daily in order to promote children’s learning and development in all the important developmental areas.

Preschool Program

Our preschool classroom welcomes children between the ages of two and four. Our small group size enables our teachers to be become familiar with the children’s individual strengths and challenges and to work with them in small groups and individually, in order to reach their highest potential.

New! We now offer yoga, music, and Spanish classes as part of our Preschool Program!

  • We promote the children’s independent learning by providing them with tools and materials that help children to develop their self-helping and problem-solving skills.
  • Our classroom projects are responsible to the children’s individual needs and interests.
  • We provide children with basic academic skills while allowing them to learn through play.

Extracurricular Classes

    Music Class

  • Our music teacher, Ms. Tracy, is an ECD music instructor. She visits our school every Wednesday. During her sessions she introduces new instruments, songs and music and movement games to the children during her music sessions. Ms. Tracy works with our infant, toddler and preschool groups.   • Yoga Class

  • Ms. Lara, our yoga instructor, holds her yoga classes on every Thursday in our toddler and preschool classrooms. She finds playful and gentle ways to teach children.   • Critter Caravan

  • Critter Caravan is a traveling education program that provides our preschool students with opportunities to see, touch and learn about different animals. The animals and their trained experts visit our students every other Friday. If you wish to learn more about this program, please check the company’s website at: www.crittercaravan.com.
  • Spanish Lessons

  • Our bilingual teachers hold Spanish lessons to our children in our toddler and preschool programs in the afternoons.

We are open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Early drop off and late pick up times can be requested based on special needs.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Astoria at 33rd Street between Ditmars Blvd. and 21st Avenue. Our location is just a few blocks from the Ditmars N & Q line and the Q69 Bus.
